Red Packet design for 2020. This is a collaboration project with Affinity, a printing company. The design is approached with a more retro style and using the rat motif, which was the year of the rat.
The restriction includes the usage of two Pantone colours. Due to the budget, it was kept simple and straightforward, with is also easy for production.
I am tasked with come up with a red packet design with limited colour schemes.
With a limited color scheme, I emphasized the text for a strong visual impact, using solid color to enhance readability and reinforce the design’s aesthetic. I also incorporated year-specific elements (e.g., rats) and ribbons for movement and elegance. The goal was to create a typographic poster where the text remained the focal point.
